German Survival Course Example
You will be shown a series of words to learn using the Linkword method. It will take you little more than a minute to see for yourself how quick and easy it is to learn.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you picture each image in your mind's eye for at least 10 seconds or the words will not fix in your memory as well as they should. You will be amazed at your ability to remember most of the words if you picture the images well.
For example:
The German for BOTTLE is FLASCHE
Imagine a BOTTLE FLASHing
past your head
The German for LOBSTER is HUMMER
Imagine a LOBSTER with
a sense of HUMOUR
The German for SKIRT is ROCK
Imagine a SKIRT spread
over a large ROCK
The German word for SMALL is KLEIN
Imagine pygmies are INCLINED to
be SMALL
The German word for HEAVY is SCHWER
Imagine you SWEAR while
lifting a HEAVY object
The German word for LATE is SPÄT
Imagine hitting your friend with a SPADE when
he is LATE
What is the English for?
